Hope and Josh - The Hay Loft Barn - Watertown, Wisconsin Wedding Photography
The who, what, where, and when of your proposal story:
On a Saturday afternoon in February, Josh and Hope went up to Port Washington to walk along the piers for an afternoon date which Hope had suggested weeks before, but Josh had already planned. Little did Hope know that Josh's buddy was following them with a camera. Hope led the way along the piers until they came to an outlet of boulders that went out into the harbor. She led them out on the boulders, and Josh quickly realized that they had to return the way they came and she would see Josh's friend. So, when they made it half way out, Josh stopped Hope, told her how much he loved her, and popped the big question.
Describe your wedding in three words:
It. Was. Perfect.
What are three things that made your wedding unique to you two?
Family members were involved in the worship service, we had sentimental first-look gifts, we had a collaborative canvas painting in place of a guest book.
Three things that made you both smile:
When Hope's brother (officiant) called Josh by Hope's younger brother's name to start the ceremony, when the sanctuary was filled with 200+ voices singing, when Josh's friends lifted Josh and Hope up on chairs for a special wedding tradition.
What was your first dance song?
"Forever and Ever, Amen" by Brent Morgan
Three things you love about each other:
He has a kind heart, blends right in with my family, and is my emotional rock. She cares about what I'm thinking, always wants what's best for me, and keeps my eyes focused on Jesus.
What advice would you give to a bride planning her wedding?
People WANT to help you, so trust them and delegate tasks!
