The who, what, where, and when of your proposal story:

We got engaged in Denver, Colorado. We enjoyed a delicious brunch and started walking in the city to meet up with some friends. We stopped at a beautiful bridge that overlooked the city and had an outstanding view of the Rocky Mountains. It was the best morning and we got to celebrate with our friends and close family after.

What advice would you give to a bride planning her wedding?

Focus on what is most important to you on that day. Everything else will fall into place.

Three things you love about each other:

Our shared interest of food and wine leads to trying many fun restaurants and cooking new meals. We love that we can laugh together and not take life too seriously. We love that we each have wonderful families that have welcomed us and loved us.

Things that made you both smile:

That just married feeling! Walking down the aisle as a married couple may have been the happiest moment of the day. We loved dancing with our live band and being surrounded by our friends and families.

What are three things that made your wedding unique to you two?

Our reception venue, the Saint Kate, is an eclectic hotel. We love the energy of the hotel. Our ceremony venue, Gesu, was located on Marquette's campus. We met at Marquette so it will always hold a very special place in our hearts. We incorporated our sweet pup, Enzo, into the day by having him visit for pictures, naming our signature drink after him and having his face on our cocktail napkins.
