Senior Photography Session in Waukesha - Riya

Senior year is an awesome time full of memories, excitement, and looking forward to the future. To celebrate, I had a blast capturing Riya's senior photos at the gorgeous Retzer Nature Center in Waukesha. The lush landscapes and serene surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for Riya's radiant personality and vibrant spirit. After the photoshoot, Riya filled out my Senior Q&A! Read on to to learn more about her experiences, aspirations, and reflections on her senior year.

How did you feel during your photo session? Any fun or memorable moments to share?

I felt like a model because she was my hypewoman, along with my cousin, who hyped me up to get a great smile and laugh in my pictures! She was a super sweet photographer, and I loved the experience.

Do you have a favorite photo from your session? What do you love about it?

The pictures of my first red outfit turned out better than I expected. The combination of the red top and sunflowers was perfect and really made me stand out in the photos.

What advice would you give to incoming high school seniors?

I would definitely recommend incoming seniors to get senior pictures taken because it's a great experience. I'd suggest using bouquets or wildflowers during the session, especially if you're in a flower field, as it's an amazing location for senior photos.

Do you have a dream job or career path you're passionate about?

My career path is headed toward business, following in my father’s footsteps. I’m interested in hospitality management, but I'm still sure.

Were you involved in any extracurricular activities, clubs, or sports? If so, which ones?

Yes! I was involved in volleyball for two years and did tennis for one year! I was in many clubs such as Asian culture club, student council, unity club, Service Club and Ambassadors club.

Do you have any shoutouts or thank yous for family, friends, or teachers?

I would like to thank my teachers and friends for making my high school experience interesting and fun! I also want to thank my family for supporting me through high school and all the stress I’ve faced.
