It was an overcast July day. The buzz of cars on N Old World 3rd St. matched the anticipation and excitement on the 18th floor of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in room 1828 where Mckenzie and her Bridesmaids were getting ready. Dove blue and gold details sprinkled throughout, elegant touches of greenery, a classic venue, a little bit of sunshine, a slight breeze, and family.
Those are the things that come to mind when I think of Arin and Mckenzie’s wedding day. Especially family.
If you asked Arin and Mckenzie what the most important thing was to them, I think they would’ve said their families. Arin and Mckenzie both have kind and generous families that supported them throughout their relationship up until their wedding day. Families that thought of every detail and helped to make their day spectacular in every way possible. From aunt Kelly creating all the floral arrangements, to Meghan’s song that she wrote for Arin and Mckenzie, to an immaculately choreographed surprise family dance to Jason Mraz’s Have It All, you could see how much their families cared.

Arin and Mckenzie have known each other since 2008, they worked together at Regner Park Beach together in 2009, made their relationship official in 2012, got engaged in 2018, and said “I do” last Friday at Pere Marquette Park. There were so many heartfelt moments on this day, that it was hard to choose just a handful of them to share on my blog. Enjoy a few of my favorite moments from July 26th, 2019.

Arin & Mckenzie,
CONGRATULATIONS!
It was an honor to be a part of your celebration last Friday, and I am so glad that I got to be the one to document your big day!
It was so lovely meeting your family and friends, and I know that your wedding is not one that I will soon forget (you two really know how to throw a party!). Thank you again for everything!

Much love,
Carley
