This little guy is almost 5 months old!
I love taking a relaxed and chill approach to photographing little kiddos because they’re just so naturally silly, sweet, and spontaneous!
I can’t help but smile when I look at these photos, and I hope they brighten your day, too!
Simplicity. Moments. Wedding Days.
It was a crisp September day in New Berlin, Wisconsin.
Angela and Ian’s met at their High school in science class. I guess the chemistry was right.
They fell in love, got engaged, and had one of the most stress-free unique weddings I have had the privilege of documenting.
I love it when my couples are able to relax and enjoy their day. I love it when all of the details come together and nothing else matters and you can simply be present. Enjoy a few of my favorites from their Navy and Gold inspired wedding at the Tuscan Hall Banquet Center. If you’ve never heard of Tuscan Hall before, you should give it’s considered the hidden gem of Waukesha :)
My oh my, family is a wild and wonderful thing. To see little ones grow and change, and walk and talk. What a gift. Does it ever baffle you that God gives us so many blessings to document and capture? Whenever I look back on my childhood, I know it was imaginative and full of adventures, but I can’t remember it. There are only a few photos of me as a little girl, usually playing outside or chasing butterflies. It’s really special to give back these moments that would’ve otherwise been missed.
Life is sweet, full of twists and turns, pain and celebration. It’s full of moments that draw us closer to Jesus. I’m grateful.
Sometimes the people I’m photographing are so extraordinarily cute I can’t even look at their photos because it’s like a sweetness overload. That’s what happens when I photograph Lindsay and Thomas. I photographed their dreamy wedding back in 2016 and it was stunning, and beautiful, and all of the positive adjectives in the English language. So when their two-year anniversary rolled around and Lindsay contacted me to capture this sweet session, I was like, “SIGN ME UP!”. Anniversary photos aren’t something I typically break out my camera for, but any excuse to hang out with these two is fine by me. Plus, I’m not usually the first to know anything, so the surprise announcement in this blog post melts my heart <3.
These are just a FEW of my favorites. Enjoy!
