We celebrated our 1 year anniversary by recreating our first date. And then Alex proposed after dinner when we were sitting on a bench by the river.

Alex calls me a turkey whenever I do something funny/dumb/embarrassing, so he wore socks with turkeys on them on wedding day.
How did your family and friends contribute to making your wedding day special?
Both sets of parents helped with planning, some friends/family travelled from out of town, aunt and uncle officiated.
