I was immediately greeted by Bri’s dad as soon as I got out of my car. That seemed to be a theme for the day–welcoming people.
If you had to describe your favorite September day, you might describe one like Bri and Joe’s. Blue skies, breezy grasses, a sparkling pond, and leaves slowly fluttering to the ground surrounded Fete of Wales in Wales, Wisconsin. Sunshine covering everything like a cozy blanket. When you step inside, you’ll see blush pink florals, eucalyptus, greenery, and hand-drawn details sprinkled throughout the venue. Bri and Joe are both graphic designers, and their wedding day had artistic touches everywhere, like hand-illustrated invitations, hand-drawn coloring pages for kids, and carefully designed table numbers and place cards crafted for each guest.

But all of the details aside, if you were to talk to Bri and Joe about what was important to them on their wedding day, I think they would’ve told you that they wanted to honor God and celebrate with their friends and family. Speaking of family, the Zellmer’s and the Till’s are about as nice as they come. Seriously, if you know them, you know what I’m talking about. They’re sweet. A little crazy and loud. A lot of talented and creative. And welcoming and kind. Really welcoming and kind.
