Portrait Project

These images were taken in part with a friend who is starting a nonprofit to help girls find their confidence in Christ. You can check it out on her page at Sarah's Safe Haven.  We collaborated together so that she would get what she needed for her website and I would be able to create a portrait project with short introductions from each girl. As you can imagine, not everyone has had time to write, so rather than postpone sharing these images I decided I would go ahead and share Melissa's introduction and let you guys see what I've been working on.

Meet Melissa!

I hope her sweet personality makes you smile as much as it made me smile!  

 Hi my name is Melissa. I am an introvert by nature but open up when I get to know someone. I enjoy spending time outdoors. I love to go camping especially in the fall. Sitting by the campfire with friends is my idea of a good time. Other things I like to do are hiking, kayaking and paddle boarding. I have a great passion for teaching children, and enjoy creating lessons and crafts for the 2-3yr old program at my church! I love seeing the children I teach grow closer to God every day!
