Mundane and Magnificent

Sometimes it feels like inspiration is a thing with wings that flies faster than I can run.

Thus, this blog has been strangely silent. I have nothing. Inspiration has flown away and I can't catch it. But, whenever nothing particularly noteworthy is happening that means something exciting will be happening very soon. It always works that way. My life is funny like that - it's mundane and then all of a sudden it's magnificent.

I spent the day photographing flowers in my backyard with my Dad's old manual focus lense on my dslr. My hope was to switch things up and potentially cure my uninspired spirit. It kind of worked and I'll be back to blogging soon, but for now enjoy this daffodil photo.  It's interesting how old lenses tend to produce muted colors and create a nostalgic feel even on a modern dslr camera.
