Lindsay & Thomas | Pewaukee Wedding

Lindsay and Thomas met one fall day during the high school boy's soccer season. Rumor has it that Lindsay saw Thomas from across the field and thought he was cute, and apparently the feeling was mutual. Fast forward and  a soccer season or two later, Lindsay and Thomas found themselves spending more and more time together and eventually started dating. They dated all throughout High School and college and then one snowy March day, (really Wisconsin, snow in March?)  They took a casual afternoon walk to Glacier Hill Park. But, what Lindsay didn't know was that earlier that day Thomas and his photographer friend Tyler scouted out the perfect location for the proposal and stomped "Will you marry me?"  in the snow. When Lindsay & Thomas got to the spot at the top of the hill Lindsay looked down and saw the message and when she looked back Thomas was down on one knee. If you've seen the engagement pictures that Tyler captured you know this moment was nothing short of perfection!

Approximately 6 months later, on September 17th, they said "I do" at Lakewood Baptist Church. The morning of their wedding was nothing but blue skies and a lovely summer breeze.

Their love for fishing was evident in their wedding. All the details from the hand made piers, the live fish centerpieces, to the lures on the boutonnieres and the fishing pole send off, made this one of the most lovely and creative weddings I've ever been to. To top it off they had a brunch reception, complete with an omelet bar, pancakes, and cocoa puffs. Their day was such a genuine, Christ-centered, perfect day filled with so much love.

Lindsay & Thomas,

Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your special day. Words cannot even describe how extraordinarily grateful and overwhelmed I am by your kindness. Thanks for setting an amazing example of what true love looks like and thanks for giving me the opportunity to capture it.

I hope that you both will enjoy many more afternoon walks and evenings spent fishing at the lake and will always enjoy the Wisconsin winter as much as you did in 2015.
