Sarah and Chris - A Winter wedding at Shully's Cuisine and Events

The who, what, where, and when of your proposal story: We were engaged November 27th, 2021 at a Christmas tree farm! Chris and I were with my Family for Thanksgiving and we have a fun tradition of getting our Christmas trees the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Chris was able to sneak me away at to a quiet part of the thee farm where it was just us two looking for a tree and he proposed. When we found my family again they had champagne waiting!

Describe your wedding in three words:

Cozy, Classy, Genuine

What advice would you give to a bride planning her wedding? Do as much as you can ahead of time so you can enjoy the sweet moments and days leading up to your wedding! And have fun :)

Three things you love about each other:
Our Faith. Our different qualities that make each other better. The shared goals we have for our future together.

What are three things that made your wedding unique to you two? We cut all of the wood and pine that was used for centerpieces and décor ourselves - we had fun spending time planning and collecting everything. Our guest book is a piece of finished cherry wood that our guests signed one side of, we are going to add legs to it and it will be a plant stand! We love Christmas, so we added subtle hints - Chris's suit was a deep green, I wore red shoes and we brought out Christmas glasses and headbands during the band.

Three things that made you both smile:

The room filled with pine and candles - so warm and cozy! The beautiful cake Chris's mom made for us. Watching our guests have fun on the dance floor!

What was your first dance song?

All I'll Ever Need - Anderson East

Chris’ mom, Audra, made their STUNNING wedding cake!
