A winter wedding at Hidden Glen Golf Club in Cedarburg, Wisconsin- Cathy + Pat

Can you share the details of your proposal story—who was involved, what happened, where it took place, and when it all unfolded?

Patrick and I were at a Brewer Game with a group of friends. Pat had arranged to have a proposal written on the large screen, but in a way only I would recognize! It said "Come What May Will you marry me? P + C. I quietly but happily said yes and we were able to still tell family first, then our friends later. They couldn't believe they hadn't noticed it happening!

What was your favorite moment from your wedding day?

Seeing Patrick at the end of the aisle as my boys walked me down.

Can you share a memorable or funny story from your wedding day?

The flower girls, having once before done this job but forgetting to drop petals, were especially enthusiastic sharing the flowers. One threw them onto several of the guests.

How did your family and friends contribute to making your wedding day special?

Every moment we felt loved and surrounded. Having a smaller wedding made each smile all the more precious and important!

How did you feel when you first saw your wedding photos?
We were thrilled. We were especially surprised by our very glamorous and fun shots outside in our town of Cedarburg. Who knew we could do this in February!

How did your wedding photography experience make you feel, and what stood out to you about the process?

We felt a level of trust and comfort with Carley and were able to simply not worry about it, knowing she would be there.

Do you have any shoutouts or thank yous for family, friends, or vendors?

Our venue, Hidden Glen Golf Club in Cedarburg, put on a beautiful reception and their chef was amazing. They even opened in the off season for us so that we could celebrate there.
