Lucia is a mix of kindness, sweetness, and fun! We met up at Retzer Nature Center in Waukesha for her Senior photos. It was a chilly 39 degrees, but Lucia had the biggest smile on her face the whole time and made it look like a perfectly warm day–this girl is up for anything! That’s one of the things I love about Lucia, she’s spontaneous and carefree–the type of person that you would call if you wanted to go and get ice cream at midnight. Always ready for an adventure. She’s also super smart and is thinking of possibly becoming a lawyer after high school. But whatever she does I hope she always keeps that smile on her face and that kindness in her heart.

Introducing Bri & Joe.
It was an overcast Sunday evening, the last little bit of summer weather was holding on, and a few rays of sunlight glimmered through the clouds. The epitome of the beginning of fall. Bri and Joe are two of the most creative people I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. They met in college where they were both studying graphic design and Joe actually proposed with this incredible art piece that he worked on for months before popping the question. I kind of wish I could illustrate stories like that, but for now, I’ll stick to documenting people’s relationships with my camera :) Enjoy some of my favorite photos from their Lapham Peak engagement session last week!
Bri & Joe,
I’m beyond honored to be a small part of documenting your story!
Here’s to lots of new adventures together!
Can’t wait for your wedding next year, if it’s anything like last week, it’s going to be 100% lovely.
Much love,
Carley
Erica and Jordan are the type of people that you just instantly get along with because they seem to welcome everyone and anyone with wide-open arms. I had an amazing time exploring High Cliff State Park with them for their engagement session. It was my first time there, and if you know me, you know I LOVE the great outdoors, so say no more than “State Park” and I’m there. The colors were just starting to change and the vivid shades of orange and red and it made all of the scenery just a little more lovely.

Meet Elise! We met up at Frame Park in Waukesha last week for her senior photos! It was a pretty cloudy day, but the sun came out just in time for her session. Elise is super chill, laid-back, and sweet, and I enjoyed getting to know her and hear about her hobbies, hopes, and dreams. Elise has many interests and talents but she has a particular love for teaching, reading, and English. After graduation, she hopes to combine those things and pursue a career in teaching high school English.
Enjoy a few of my favorite photos from her bright and colorful session!
When I was photographing Carli, one of the thoughts that kept popping into my head, was “There’s no one else quite like Carli”. She’s just got that extra energy and sparkle that makes you feel like you’ve instantly met a friend. I love that about her. Carli actually came to my session on entrepreneurship and photography at Brookfield Central High School’s “Bring your Community to School Day” because she’s interested in pursuing visual arts after high school! I love that I got to spend time with her and take her senior photos!
Hey Carli,
You made my Saturday morning 10x brighter and more fun! I wish we could take your senior photos every day!
So proud of you for working hard and chasing your dreams! Keep rocking that amazing smile and making people feel loved and appreciated.
Much love,
Carley
This is my brand new baby niece. We all love her lots. God has blessed our family with this little one, and it was so fun for me to be able to document how tiny and sweet she is. I’m keeping this blog post short and sweet (for once), so instead of me talking, enjoy these hospital and in-home lifestyle photos :)
